New 5" & 7" sunlight-readable TFT displays from Toppan

New in the portfolio are two further products of the sunlight-readable 5" and 7" Blanview TFT series from Toppan. The 5" COM50H5N01ULC and 7" COM70H7M24ULC models, which have been available for some time, achieve a backlight lifetime of approx. 100K hours thanks to powerful LED chips. With the two new models COM50H5N15ULC and COM70H7M40ULC we now offer a more cost-effective version with approx. 50K hours, which is suitable for applications for which a lower backlight lifetime is sufficient. In terms of optical and mechanical properties, the displays in both versions are identical.
The models in the series have a resolution of 800x480 dots and a brightness of 400 cd/m2. The temperature range has been significantly extended from -20°C to +70°C to -30°C to +85°C which is why the displays are at a level typical for the automotive sector. For all models, depending on customer requirements, we offer our suitable PCAP touch extensions and the standard ST1:3 control of our eMotion series, which enables a simple and quick evaluation of the TFT's characteristics.
