To ensure unrestricted and precise operability of the touch system at all times, we make individual software adjustments according to the requirements profile of our customers. For example, our PCAP controller settings can be adjusted so that the touch performance is error-free and unrestricted even when operated with gloves.

Operability under the influence of liquids

Conductive liquids such as (salt) water, disinfectants or blood can negatively affect the operability and functionality of a touch system and cause false triggers (ghost touches). Thanks to state-of-the-art adjustment tools and touch controllers of the latest generation, which can clearly distinguish between liquids and users by means of different measuring methods (self and mutual scan), we ensure that our touch solutions can be operated perfectly at all times.

Touch displays in industrial environments are subject to strict qualification standards, such as the DIN EN61000-4-6 standard (immunity to conducted disturbances). Our touch products pass interference levels of 10V/m and more in compliance with evaluation criterion A (no impairment of the function during and after the test). To pass this test, the touch sensor must be appropriately parameterised, which our experienced teams of experts carry out when implementing customised touch solutions.
