miniLED FALD Technology
The miniLED FALD backlight ("Full array local dimming") is a dense array of LEDs behind the LCD, each of which can be controlled individually. This allows optimal control of the LED brightness levels to mirror the picture content to increase overall contrast and dynamic range. The advantages compared to conventional backlighting include an extremely high contrast ratio, OLED-level colour space, superior picture quality and excellent readability even in sunlight. In addition, power consumption is significantly lower compared to similarly bright displays.
MiniLED backlighting proves to be superior to OLED, especially in strong ambient light, as the latter tends to fade at certain brightness levels. This makes MiniLED technology particularly suitable for environments with intense lighting, such as bright operating rooms in hospitals.
Our range includes a wide selection of sizes, starting at 7 inches up to a current size of 31.5 inches. Both Full HD and 4K resolutions are available. In addition, we offer various control solutions as well as the integration of FALD with PCAP touch and the option of customising cover glasses according to our customers' individual requirements.
