Energy-saving operation thanks to proximity sensors

With the help of proximity sensors, a comparatively energy-saving operation of the entire system can be realised. Since the display is only activated when the integrated sensors register proximity by means of infrared or laser technology, significantly less energy is required than with convention-al display systems. Depending on the customer's requirements and the desired location, either short-range sensors (for short distances of less than 1m) or long-range sensors (for distances of up to 7m) can be used. The use of proximity sensors is advantageous both from an ecological point of view and with regard to energy efficiency assessment. In addition, they are also convincing from an economic point of view, since thanks to the overall low energy consumption, costs are saved and the service life of the system is increased.
